Can anyone remember what excellent Customer Service was in the 'old days'? Well it doesn't seem to be the norm nowadays does it? Words like 'sorry I can't help you' is standard in many shops/stores. So I was beyond thrilled when I bought my Garmin C320 in April 05, after a great deal of research. I rang Garmin and they said GSD Navigation in Aldermaston was the nearest distributor to me. I had been to a companies in the local area and no one was particularly helpful as they couldn't demonstrate what the Garmin acutally did. What was the point I thought of spending money on an item you couldn't see working! Beyond me.

My worries were over the day we walked into GSD. Sit down have a cup of coffee and tell me how I can help was the first thing they said. I nearly fell over!! They explained the different units to us and showed us exactly how they worked and even took us for a test drive.

I rang in for phone support shortly after I took Gladys home as I couldn't work out something (hadn't read the manual!!) and they couldn't have been more reassuring on the phone and I was able to get to my destination without getting hidiously lost!

I have recently been back so my Garmin (Gladys is actually her name!) could be loaded with French maps and postcodes (am completly computer illiterate!!) the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Many thanks to you all at GSD for making my driving a joy and not a hassle and always being brilliant on the phone. You stars!!

I felt compelled to write a short note thanking your company for the excellent service you have provided. Having recent purchased a new motor bike fitted with a Garmin 2610 GPS. I found myself short of the relevant accessories to use in a car. A search of the net found your comprehensive web site. I phoned and spoke with Guy who was very helpful, not only did he have the accessories I required but at a very competitive rate. He promised to dispatch that day for next day delivery. They arrived 0930am next morning. He also assisted and advised on soft ware up grades. His technical knowledge and courtesy are a credit to your company and should be commended. Such service is sorely lacking in British retailing and I would not hesitate to use or recommend your company again.
