TRAVELLING EUROPE?

WARNING!

French Authorities are clamping down on any suspected French speed camera database in use, they are now looking for any form of proximity alert on a sat nav sytem and are sometimes impounding sat navs and in extreme cases vehicles.

As a company GSD only loads the LEGAL UK speed camera database, we do not load any form of French speed camera database, However as mentioned above, some of the authorities are just looking for a proximity alert function, even if it is switched off.

A Solution?

For existing or new customers, we can now provide a letter, with French translation, explaining that we do not load any form of French Speed Camera Database and that the systems are intended for purely navigational purposes. This MAY be of help to you if you are unlucky enough to find yourself in this situation. If you would like us to provide one of these letters with your new system, please put a note in the special requests box when you check out. If you are an existing customer and would like us to send you a letter please call Laura on the number below.

There is NO charge for this service, we are simply trying to help those customers venturing onto the continent.
